Outil pour éditée les fichiers de ressource compilé (.rsc ou .r**) pour la nouvelle version de Symbian9.x et supportons également pré v9.

L’éditeur de Ressource montrera presque tout les cordes incruster dans le fichier .rsc (*.RSC), Quand vous sauvegarder vous pouvez choisir l'option pour recouvrir la corde originale ou pas, Et peut être sauvegardé comme fichier de ressource…RESEdit filtrera la gamme de non caractères code alors il peut montrera un  texte lisible.

RESEdit makes your work easier with the standard features

• Open resource file (.rsc and .r**).
• Show the strings included in resource file.
• Unlike other software, RESEdit gathers the string by using offset indexing which always gives the exact string position and its certain length.
• Unicode and ASCII (extended bits) string supports.

Unicode format represents multi graphical language in wide range independent of local language system. ASCII code is 7 bits codes represents the 127 control codes and graphical language characters, the extended bits (position 128 to 255) represent the regional language code which depending on the Windows code page (encoding) which supports on the local system. In the case of ASCII character, RESEdit use code page to encode (convert string data to ASCII code upon the selected code page) and decode (convert ASCII code to string upon the selected code page). The selection of proper code page according to the way they encoded will help any software on Windows system can translate the exact character of ASCII code. For example web browser needs the correct code page to rendering the web page as openning the mail inbox, because the mail message encode all message as ASCII character.

• Working savely within the allowed range, any alter by adding byte or adjust any offset of string in rsc file may harm your file and other components which link to it may interrupted or affacted by invalid contents (because .rsc file is a compiled resource file which owned by others components.
• Selectable save option.
• No more confuse about the hex code as other application. No need to search, all valid strings are ready show in the list.

This RESEditor needs Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to run.
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is available at Microsoft website and free to download.
RESEdit developed by Microsoft Visual Basic 8 inside Visual Studio 2005 package.
